Do you need your academic documents to have written English at a publishable standard?
I proofread and copyedit academic papers to a very high standard. All my edits are tracked in Word, and I add comments and suggestions where needed. I usually provide both a clean and a tracked version of the edited document to the client. When proofreading, I use the PDF markup tools.
Over the past three years, I have edited or proofread a vast number of papers (over 200) for academics that are non-native English speakers, and theses and dissertations for students, in subjects that range from optical physics to social media for physicians.
I have edited, proofread and published 88 of my own research papers and published 6 books. I attained a PhD in physics and worked as a Senior Researcher from 2006 to 2020. During my academic career, I was known for finding minor mistakes in documents that everyone else had missed.
I was also volume editor for Elsevier’s reference book “Comprehensive Nanoscience and Nanotechnology” (Second Edition, Volume 5).
